Even though the reviews were less than stellar for this one, so too were the reviews of the first game, and I still walked away from that one quite happy. So, when I heard that a new "Poképark" game was being released, known as "Poképark 2: Wonders Beyond," I was reasonably excited. … ExpandĪs you guys may remember from my review, I actually enjoyed "Poképark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure." Sure, it has its drawbacks, but it's a fun little adventure for the short time it lasts. All around, it is a very cute game that offers a ton of fun.
There is also a massive post game with new areas and a new story to complete, and a ton of friends that you can make. I noticed that there were so many nice animations, from unique loading screens to every single skill/attack level up having a cute cutscene of the characters training that skill with their mentor. They all have really nice models and unique animations. There are so many Pokémon to befriend, around 200. This game shines the most in its main gameplay- making friends. The biggest limiting factor was the lack of attractions, with only 4 in the game and only one of them being one I actively chose to keep replaying. The story was good, with a solid ending and pretty good characters. The soundtrack was fine, nothing too amazing or stand out but it was good and did its job. They hold up today and are great for on the Wii. The This game is a great and adorable experience! First of all, the graphics are phenomenal. This game is a great and adorable experience!
